Appropriations Tracking

The Committee's Statutory Responsibility

One of the Budget Committee's tasks, mandated by the 1974 Congressional Budget Act, is to monitor annual appropriations bills and compare the spending levels to those set forward in annual budget resolutions to determine if they are within budget. This process is known informally as appropriations tracking.

The appropriations process for FY 2014 is now underway; please find below detailed information about the various spending bills moving their way through the House and Senate. This page was last updated on January 24, 2014.
